IAS - Visual Identity Refresh.
We hit a point where we felt it was time to take another look at our branding. Did it truly represent us anymore? The answer was...well mostly yes, but not quite. Our studio has grown and matured, and with new members came fresh ideas and different ways of thinking and working. This shift made us realize that our 'IAMSTATIC' project deserved a little attention. So, we've revamped it, making sure it genuinely showcases the dynamic and evolving spirit of our studio.
Our wordmark is the bedrock of our visual identity. Bold but refined, our logo sets the tone for our brand, conveying the passion and values that drive us.
Lettermark & Brandmark.
The letter mark is a motified monogram of IAMSTATIC. It shares the same line weight as the wordmark with small adjustments to the spacing. The A has been cut in half and works to condence the entire mark and create a subtle graphic element. The negative space between the A and S help finish the A allowing for legibilty but also visual interest. The middle shapes also add additional interest by mimicing the abbreviation VS. as well as the number 1. This gives the mark some edge. It's confident and bold.
More than a mere emblem, our brandmark is a versatile icon crafted to enrich our branding.
Shaped as a bisected capsule, it serves as a vessel for diverse creative expressions, amplifying our brand’s voice. Influenced by pop culture, its design echoes the anime trope of objects expertly sliced in half. Its playful form is more than visual appeal. It’s a call to innovation, urging us to experiment and adapt, ensuring our brand remains fresh and evolving.
